About
The operations and departments of the Higher Institute of Languages are organized into three primary tracks: 1. Academic Departments and Available Languages. The Institute comprises four specialized departments: the English Language Department, the French Language Department, the Arabic Language Teaching Department, and the Department of Various Languages. The latter includes sections dedicated to teaching multiple languages—such as German, Spanish, Russian, Italian, Persian, Turkish, Chinese, Japanese, and Kurdish—in addition to an Aramaic Language Teaching Center. 2. Graduate Programs Offered: The Institute offers specialized academic degrees (diploma, qualification and specialization, master’s, and doctorate) to holders of university degrees. These include: Diplomas and Master’s degrees in qualification and specialization in the fields of English Language Teaching, French Language Teaching, and Teaching Arabic to Non-Native Speakers; and Academic Graduate Studies, comprising research-based Master’s and Doctoral programs. 3. Official National and Standardized Tests.
